Ms Ostfeld represents clients through the drafting of contracts, preparation of letters of advice, estate planning, negotiation of settlements, real estate closings, incorporation of for-profit and not- for-profit corporations, copyright and trademark applications, and the purchase or sale of a business.She has represented clients in litigation involving breach of contract, employment discrimination, product liability, and other business related disputes.
She is Secretary of the Commission on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods for the Union Internationale des Avocats, an international bar association, and has addressed the UIA CISG and Contracts Commission on numerous occasions. She has also made several presentations to the Chicago Bar Association International and Foreign Law Committee on international contracts.
